• Penne and Chicken with Sugoloso
 

1 cup loosely packed sun dried tomatoes, reconstituted by simmering in water, then drained

2 cloves garlic, cracked and peeled

1/4 cup olive oil

20 or so leaves fresh basil

Salt and pepper to taste

1 lb penne pasta, cooked al dente

1 package of Bilinski Sun Dried Tomato Chicken Sausage

Shaved Pepato, or, if preferred, Parmagiano Reggiano

Saute garlic in olive oil over medium heat. Remove from heat and let it cool for about 5 minutes. Place the oil and garlic in a food processor. Chop Chicken sausages into pieces, and cook over medium heat until heated through-about 5 minutes.

Add tomatoes, basil, and black pepper to the garlic and olive oil in the food processor. Process this mixture until it forms a thick paste. Toss penne, chicken, and paste together until the pasta is evenly coated. Top with your choice of grated chese. Enjoy!
