• Spinach & Garlic Chicken Sausage with Shallots and Pine Nuts
 

1 lb of Bilinski's Spinach & Garlic Chicken Sausage

1 lb Penne Pasta

3 Tbsp. olive oil

3 large shallots, chopped

1/4 cup toasted pine nuts

2 Tbsp. fresh basil, chopped

3 cloves of garlic, finely chopped

Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan or romano cheese

Cook pasta in lightly salted boiling water until al dente, drain. Saute sausages, shallots, and garlic in olive oil over medium heat until onions are translucent and sausage is warmed through, about 5 minutes. Add to pasta. Season with pine nuts and spices. Sprinkle with cheese. Serves 4. Enjoy!
